Maricopa County had the most land and farms for sale. There were 4,668 acres of sold land in Arizona recorded in January through the Lands of America sales program. This reflects a seven percent change in sales activity over the month before, with a combined land value of $8 million for all property and land sold in the state. The most land sales in the state last month were located in Cochise County. Of this area, 113,594 square miles is made up of land, while the remaining 396 square miles comprises water. Wildlife to be found on land for sale in Arizona include mule deer, elk, dove, quail, and whitetail deer. Fishermen have their choice of bass, trout, and catfish.
