Roper Lake State Park is 4 miles away with fishing, swimming and a natural hot springs tub. Safford has a college, hospital, commercial farms/orchards/greenhouses, and all the major chain stores. Nearby casino. Coronado National Forest is visible from the property, with Mt Graham and Aravipa Canyon providing cool summer hiking opportunities. Graham County population is about 36,000 people. Downtown Safford is 7 miles from the property.

We were going to retire here, but settled instead in Utah. We purchased it for the winter weather, mountain views, seclusion, and creek. The property is zoned for having horses or other large animals, or fruit and nut trees. We still camp on the property, enjoying the Arizona sunsets, star gazing, coyotes, javelina and quail. There is enough mesquite on the property for fires and winter heat for a lifetime. There are excellent water wells in the immediate area, as well as hot springs. We have begun to cut in a walking trail through the wooded area toward the creek.

It is an amazing piece of property, and the pictures don't do it enough justice. The parcel is rectangular, and the neighbors are only visible from the upper 2 tiers. We wish we could keep it just for camping.
